Fortnite already has some pretty iconic characters.
Just in the last few weeks players have been able to unlock The Mandalorian, The Predator and The Terminator. So that got us thinking, what other characters would it be fun to play as in Fortnite? What characters would look like total badasses wielding weapons and doing Fortnite dances? Who do we want to see building forts and shooting down their foes?
We’ve put together a list of six characters/groups of characters that we think could make an awesome addition to Fortnite. We hope you’re listening, Epic.

Teen Titans
The Teen Titans are a group of young heroes and some of them, like Robin, were previous sidekicks for some of DC’s biggest heroes. The Cartoon Network version of the group includes Robin, Starfire, Cyborg, Raven, and Beast Boy as its members. Fortnite already has the likes of Deadpool, Aquaman and Groot so why not give the Teen Titans a chance? Not that we condone giving teens guns, we hasten to add.
While we think it would be cool to play Fortnite as any of the Teen Titans, we think Raven might just be the coolest. Not only do we love her gothic/witchy vibes, but she’s got those cool manipulating abilities we think could make for a really fun emote. Beast Boy has the potential for a few different outfits as well. We just love this idea all around.
Totally Spies!
Now, we know that this one is a bit niche, but when we brainstormed the characters we might like to see in Fortnite, Totally Spies! was way up there with Powerpuff Girls. We bumped the Powerpuff Girls because there isn’t a realistic way for them to end up in the game. Plus, they’re actual children so we probably shouldn’t equip them with assault rifles.
Totally Spies! was a North American cartoon from the early 2000s that followed three teenage spies Sam, Alex and Clover as they took on dangerous missions in and among their everyday teenage lives. And while, again, we deal with the “giving teens guns” dilemma here, these girls ending up in Fortnite would just be way too cool of a blast from the past to argue with it.
Girls’ Generation (SNSD)
Fortnite already has a few characters that feel pretty reminiscent of K-Pop stars, but we think having actual K-Pop stars in the game would be crazy fun. And who better than Girls’ Generation? Girls’ Generation is made up of performers Taeyeon, Sunny, Tiffany, Hyoyeon, Yuri, Sooyoung, Yoona, and Seohyun (and previously Jessica).
It’s a shame that you can only have up to four people on a team because we think it would be absolutely amazing if a group of eight people were able to all play as the members of SNSD. Talk about girl power. Not to mention how epic their outfits and emotes would be. Anyone? No? Just us then? Forward Chess: ¡la aplicación que da vida a tus libros de ajedrez!
Buffy
Speaking of girl power, let’s talk about Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Buffy is an iconic TV/comic book character. Her world is dangerous and strange, and she’s been through a heck of a lot of life-changing events. Like, you know, fighting vampires, falling in love with vampires, dying and coming back to life. So we think she would fit perfectly in the world of Fortnite. Her melee weapon could be her iconic wooden stake and she could have some excellent 90s-inspired outfits.
Some of Buffy’s friends would make great additions too. Willow the witch would be adorably crazy equipped with a big shotgun, and Angel would have all the girls sweating. Not to mention Spike, the sexy vamp himself. We’re going to have to move on before we actually draft up an email pitching this to the Fortnite game devs.
Katniss Everdeen
One of the most iconic characters in young adult fiction is Katniss Everdeen from The Hunger Games. Known for her skills with a bow and arrow, Katniss radiates intimidation and badass-ness. We love the idea of adding Katniss to the game because she might inspire some pretty cool mini-game ideas. The game already has a crossbow, so how about a Katniss-inspired crossbow tournament?
Katniss could be joined by Peeta and Gale, and the three of them could fight side-by-side just as they did in Mockingjay. Mostly, we just want to be able to jump around in Katniss and Peeta’s flaming outfits. Sure, there’s something a little cruel and ironic about throwing Katniss and Peeta into an arena of people trying to kill them, but we’re overlooking that fact.
Power Rangers
Possibly the most believable crossover on this list is Power Rangers and, honestly, we’re not sure how the Mighty Morphin’ heroes haven’t been added to the game yet. Power Rangers first came about in the 90s, but have been capturing the hearts of audiences young and old ever since. The Power Rangers are known for piloting awesome machines which would basically be perfect gliders for players to use in Fortnite.
Some of the show’s iconic bad guys could show up, too, and try to take out our beloved heroes. The potential is all there; it just needs some fuel. These powerful fighters come in many colours and we think just one outfit where we could change to whatever colour we love would be simple and a great fit for Fortnite.
