We have known for some time that Ubisoft is working on Assassin’s Creed Infinity, a proposal from game as a service within the Assassin’s Creed universe which could adopt a Seasonal content model and offer new adventures and settings without having to make an entire game from scratch. There are still not too many details of his proposal officially, but it is rumored again that Japan would be their main location.
Since the series was made with the favor of the mass public, Japan is one of the settings most demanded by fans, just like the Viking setting that finally came to life in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. According to journalist Jeff Grubb, Assassin’s Creed Infinity will finally satisfy this sector of the gaming community, although it would not be a completely traditional Assassin’s Creed.
