Upcoming poker sim Poker Club has a release date. It'll be hitting next-gen platforms, PC, and current-gen consoles on November 19th. A Nintendo Switch version is also in the works and will follow at a later date.

What can we expect from Poker Club?

According to developer Ripstone Games, Poker Club will leverage the power of next-gen hardware and Unreal Engine 4 to offer "the most immersive poker simulation ever seen". Ripstone's Phil Gaskell says the team has been working hard to ensure that Poker Club offers more modes and ways to play than its competitors. It's been designed as a social experience; there will be tournaments supporting up to 200 players, as well as player-created clubs, leaderboards, and daily chip bonuses to play for. What will Poker Club offer to next-gen players?

Ripstone says that Poker Club has been engineered to take advantage of next-gen hardware. The PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions (as well as the PC version, naturally) will support 4K resolution at 60fps as well as hardware-accelerated ray tracing on supported machines. On PS5, Poker Club will use the DualSense controller's haptic feedback to "immerse players on the poker table". Both the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will offer free cross-gen upgrades, using Microsoft's Smart Delivery feature on Xbox platforms.

You'll be able to get your hands on Poker Club for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 19th. Ripstone is also working on a Nintendo Switch version, which will follow sometime in 2021.
