Red Dead Online Halloween is gearing up to be a super-spooky event. The world's creepiest holiday brings the game's first Halloween Pass packed with rewards, as well as a new game mode and extra-scary animals to hunt down in a new Red Dead Online update.

What's in the Red Dead Online Halloween Pass?

The Halloween Pass is a limited-time upgrade that brings 20 additional ranks to Red Dead Online. Each rank grants a reward when you reach it. These rewards include a new Gothic theme for the Moonshine Bar, extra filters for the Advanced Camera, themed clothing, and plenty more. In addition, Rockstar is bringing back membership to the Wheeler, Rawson, & Co Club, which will be free for all players. Ranking up with this club nets you extra bonuses. These rewards include a Phantom Buck Horse Mask and a Noir advanced camera filter. You can check out a terrifying trailer for the Red Dead Online Halloween Pass right here:

What else is coming with the Red Dead Online update for Halloween?

The new Dead of Night mode sees four teams of players competing to see who can score the most points. To score points, you must take out The Dead. Higher point tallies will kill other players, so make sure to rack up those points. As well as this new game mode, there are two new Legendary Panthers to seek out: the Nightwalker Panther and the Ghost Panther. For the former, you'll need to trek to the south of Bolger Glade, while the latter can be found stalking the Bluewater Marsh area. Bringing those two panthers' pelts to Gus' Store will unlock corresponding Garment Sets for you to adorn yourself in.
